cookies from server.iad.liveperson.net are set. I removed and blocked the cookies to see what happens, but could not notice any difference. The platform starts as usual without the cookies.
A search in Google for the keywords "liveperson spyware" gave more than 15000 results. As far as I figured out for the moment, it is a "tracking cookie"; according to eTrust Spyware Encyclopedia this is "Any cookie that is shared among two or more web pages for the purpose of tracking a user's surfing history."
